About

The Osun State House of Assembly is the legislative arm of the government of Osun State, Nigeria. It is a unicameral legislature made up of 26 members elected from state constituencies, some of which combine two local government areas across the state's 30 local government areas. The Assembly's main functions are to enact new laws, amend or repeal existing laws, and oversee the executive. Members serve four-year terms that run concurrently with federal legislators. The Assembly convenes three times a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, in its complex in the state capital, Osogbo.
