Edo State House of Assembly

The Edo State House of Assembly is the unicameral legislature of the Nigerian state of Edo. It makes laws for the state and its role is defined in Chapter V, Part II of the Constitution of Nigeria. The House is composed of 24 members, each elected from single-member constituencies across the 18 local government areas of the state. The All Progressives Congress (APC) holds a majority in the Assembly with 22 seats, while the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is in the minority with 2 seats. The Assembly meets at the Chief Anthony Enahoro Complex in Benin City.
