Yunusari is a Local Government Area in Yobe State, Nigeria, with its headquarters in the town of Kanamma (or Kanama) in the north-east of the area on the Burun Gana River. It shares a border in the north with the Republic of Niger. The main economic activities are agriculture, including crops such as millet, beans, maize, sorghum and groundnut, and the rearing of animals. The area faces environmental challenges including wind erosion, desertification, deforestation and the effects of climate change.
