Jos South

Jos South is a Local Government Area in Plateau State, Nigeria, with its headquarters in Bukuru town. It houses the new Plateau State Government House, including the Office of the Executive Governor and several government administrative offices, and is therefore often described as the de facto capital of Plateau State. The area is home to several educational institutions, including Karl Kumm University, Plateau State Polytechnic Jos campus and the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies in Kuru, as well as the Nigerian Airforce Station Jos and a number of hotels and leisure venues.
