History
The Kingdom of Doma was founded in 1232 by Andoma and lasted until 1901, when it became part of the British Protectorate of northern Nigeria. The Doma/Alago people, led by Osabonya Ogoshi Andoma, are believed to have moved through several places, including Idah, Apa, Otupka, Ogyogo and Oba'sidoma, before settling at their present location. They are said to have originally come from the ancient Kwararafa Empire.
