Arewa Dandi

Arewa Dandi is a town and Local Government Area in Kebbi State, Nigeria, sharing a boundary with the Republic of Niger. It covers an area of 3,901 square kilometres and had a population of 184,030 at the 2006 census. The area is largely dry and arid, with agriculture as its main economic activity, including the cultivation of grains and onions. Cattle rearing is also important, particularly among the local Fulani community.
