Ajingi is a town and Local Government Area in Kano State, Nigeria. It covers an area of 714 square kilometres and had a population of 174,137 at the 2006 census. The local economy is based mainly on farming and pottery making, with commerce also significant, including the Larabar Zango market, the largest market in the rural areas of Kano State.
