Ise/Orun

Ise/Orun is a Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Nigeria, with its administrative headquarters in Ise Ekiti town. It is one of the state's 16 operational LGAs and is included in the Ekiti South senatorial district. The area is governed by a local government council with ten wards represented by 11 elected councillors. The council is in charge of the LGA's public administration. The local economy is known for farming, including maize, cassava and pepper, as well as markets, blacksmithing, textile weaving, cocoa, timber and hunting.
