Bomadi

About

Bomadi is an Ijaw town and local government area in Delta State, Nigeria. The town lies on the bank of the Forcados River, and the local government area has its headquarters in Bomadi town. The local government area includes eleven communities, among them Ogriagbene, Esanma, Akugbene, Ogbein-ama, Bomadi, Kpakiama, Ekamuta-gbene, Azebiri, Ogodobiri, Okoloba, Kalafuo-gbene, Adobu, Agoloma, Aven, Bolou Apelebiri, Bolou-Angiama, Odorubu and Ogo-Eze. At the 2006 census the area had a total population of 86,016 people.
