Nnewi North is a Local Government Area in Anambra State, South-East Nigeria. It is composed of four towns: Otolo, Uruagu, Umudim and Nnewi-ichi, with Umudim as its headquarters. It falls under the Anambra South senatorial district. The area is industrialized, with manufacturing businesses producing a diverse range of goods, and it has numerous marketplaces, including the Nkwo Nnewi Main market. It is also home to banks, hotels, government organizations and privately owned businesses that have a substantial economic impact on the area.
