The Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI) is a Nigerian federal agency that works to promote transparency and accountability in the oil, gas and mining sectors. It is listed among the agencies under the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. NEITI's role is to publish information on revenues and payments made by extractive companies to the government, so that citizens and stakeholders can see how natural resource earnings are handled.
